Jokar Game

Mr. Akarapon Kritruenonwong

Abstract :

Over 4 years, I have studied and developed graphic design concepts both in 2D and 3D formats derived from the Thai ornament grid system. This exploration demonstrates the potential to apply these designs in product design. I was particularly intrigued by the equal number of cards in a deck (54) and blocks in Jenga (54), motivating me to merge graphic design elements into a combined card and Jenga game.

Objectives :

  1. Implement the Thai ornament grid system effectively in graphic design on products.
  2. Extend and develop card and Jenga game products in conjunction.

Conceptual Framework :

Designing graphics on products based on the Thai ornament grid system.

Process / Methodology :

  1. Research various card games, board games, and game formats.
  2. Analyze data to summarize the product patterns for further development.
  3. Design a card game product combined with Jenga.
  4. Implement graphic design on the product and create a virtual 3D model.
  5. Determine suitable materials and printing techniques for the product.
  6. Summarize the design for presentation.

Techniques and Materials :

UV printing on Acrylic

Result / Conclusion :

The project successfully demonstrates the integration of graphic design into card and Jenga game products. Additionally, it showcases the potential of the Thai ornament grid system for versatile applications across various contexts.
