Thai Royal Residence in Honor of the Ninth Reign Bhumibol Dam, Sam Ngao District of Tak province

According to Phumiphol Dam Authority intends to hire a design Thai Royal Residence and riverside pavilion for construction within the area of Phumiphol Dam, EGAT (Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand), Tumbol Khao Kaeo Sub-district, Sam Ngao District, Tak Province. Hiring will be done through a limited specification selection process as announced by the EGAT. The building area must not be less than 700 square meters.

The location of the building being a focal point within the area where His Majesty the King has conducted royal ceremonies in the Ping River which is located directly opposite the Phra Thai Water Park, allowing for the integration of contiguous areas, including the petanque court where His Majesty the Queen plays with the staff of the Phumiphol Dam. Therefore, the design must prioritize these areas.

Objectives
• To prepare the detailed design of the Thai Royal Residence and riverside pavilion.
• To serve as a venue for exhibitions related to royal initiatives in order to honor the graciousness of His Majesty The King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
• To establish construction guidelines and development directions to transform the site into a tourist destination, both presently and in the future.
